We look forward to welcoming you into our care! Our paperwork is available online, so you may complete it at your convenience before coming in. Please bring your ID and insurance card to your first appointment, so that we can verify your coverage for you.

Your First Visit

When you enter Summit Spine and Sport Chiropractic in either our  Idaho Falls  or Rexburg location, we’ll greet you by name and make you feel welcome. We’ll show you a five-minute introductory video, and then you’ll meet with your chiropractor to talk about your health history and current concerns, as well as your expectations of care. We want to know what your condition keeps you from doing, so we’ll ask questions to help us understand your goals.

Then we do a “show and tell” examination—we’ll be looking for the underlying causes of your condition, and we’ll let you know everything we’re doing as we conduct your exam. When we find areas of misalignment, we’ll explain what that is and how it relates to the pain or mobility issue you’ve been experiencing. We’ll also take X-rays at this visit, if needed.

This visit typically lasts about 45 minutes.

Your Second Visit

This appointment is shorter, about 20-30 minutes. We’ll go over the results of your exam and X-rays, and explain our recommendations for care. Then we’ll discuss the costs and your insurance coverage, so you know exactly what to expect financially. If you are ready to begin care, you’ll usually receive your first adjustment and any necessary therapies at this visit. (In some cases, we may adjust at the first visit, but we prefer to create your individualized care plan before beginning adjustments.)

Chiropractic care is safe, easy and effective for many conditions—and we will tell you upfront if we don’t think chiropractic is the right choice for you, so you have nothing to lose!
